Plan the numerical risk of a stock or spot cryptocurrency trade before placing an order. Trade Risk Calculator uses your account balance, selected risk percentage, trade direction, entry price, stop-loss price, take-profit price, and optional fee percentage to produce a clear position overview. Enter the proposed trade values, choose Long or Short, and calculate: - Maximum monetary risk - Position size in asset units - Position value - Potential profit before estimated fees - Estimated entry and exit fees - Potential profit after estimated fees - Risk-to-reward ratio Position size is reported in asset units—not currency value, forex lots, or futures contracts. For example, a result of 25 means 25 shares for a stock or 25 units of a spot cryptocurrency. The separate position-value result estimates the currency value of those units at the entered entry price. The extension is intended for straightforward stock and spot cryptocurrency position calculations. Long and Short validation helps identify stop-loss and take-profit prices placed on the wrong side of the entry price. Trade Risk Calculator works entirely in the browser. It does not connect to a broker or exchange, place orders, recommend trades, predict market movements, or guarantee outcomes. Current limitations: the calculator does not support forex lot sizing, futures contract sizing, leverage or margin calculations, liquidation prices, slippage, bid/ask spreads, or exchange-specific lot-size and price rounding. Results are estimates based only on the values entered by the user.
