Overview
Turn cashtags into trades through your brokerage, without leaving X.
See a stock on X? Open your brokerage trading flow without leaving the conversation. Trade on X brings the trade.it widget directly into X’s cashtag search results. Search for a ticker such as $AAPL, then click the large Trade button beneath its stock chart to open the widget alongside your feed. • Connect a supported brokerage through SnapTrade. • Choose your account and prepare an order. • Review and explicitly approve before any order is sent. • Match X’s light or dark theme. • Click outside to dismiss, then reopen to continue your draft. Installing this extension changes the large Trade button beneath X’s cashtag search chart to open trade.it instead of X’s native broker menu. Regular cashtag links and smaller Trade buttons inside posts keep their usual behavior. X must display the stock chart and its Trade button for the extension to work. Availability can vary by symbol, account and region. Supported brokerages and trading features depend on trade.it, SnapTrade and your brokerage. Quotes may differ from those displayed by X. The hosted trade.it widget handles brokerage connection and trading. The extension cannot read your brokerage credentials or account data inside the widget. Opening the widget does not place an order. Provided by SnapTrade. Independent extension, not affiliated with or endorsed by X.
