Trade Journal keeps a record of how you actually trade — on your own computer, with no account and no server. WHAT YOU LOG Date, symbol, long or short, size, entry, stop, exit, fees, a setup tag and your own notes. Leave the exit blank and the trade stays open until you fill it in. While you type, the popup shows what the trade made or lost and the result in R, so a mistyped price is obvious before you save. CHART SCREENSHOTS One button captures the visible tab and attaches it to the trade. The image is shrunk to 900 pixels wide before it is stored, so a few hundred screenshots still fit comfortably. WHAT THE STATS TAB SHOWS - Net profit and loss - Win rate, wins against losses - Expectancy — what one more trade is worth if the sample repeats - Profit factor - Average win, average loss, average R - Maximum drawdown - An equity curve - A breakdown per setup tag, so you can see which idea actually pays EXPORT AND BACKUP Export the list you are looking at as CSV for a spreadsheet, or copy it straight to the clipboard. The options page writes a full JSON backup including screenshots, and restores one. PRIVACY The extension requests no host permissions and has no network access. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Your trades are held by Chrome in local storage on this machine. If you uninstall the extension, they are gone — take a backup first. WHAT IT IS NOT It is not a broker connection, it does not place orders, it does not give advice and it does not predict anything. It records what you did and adds up the result.
