TrackMyOPT helps F-1 students manage their OPT timeline and job search from Chrome. The extension connects to your TrackMyOPT account so you can stay organized while keeping every application under your control. WHAT YOU CAN DO • View your OPT and STEM OPT dates, unemployment-day tracking, and important reminders. • Save job postings from supported career pages and job boards to your TrackMyOPT job tracker. • Prefill eligible empty application fields, including contact, address, work-authorization, salary, work-preference, and approved optional EEO fields. • Match common ATS dropdowns and repeatable work/education sections across Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, and other employer-hosted forms. • Attach the active job-specific resume only when it matches the current application. • Draft screening-question answers and cover letters using the active resume and job description, with review required before use. • Use optional Step-by-step, Continuous, or Guided Autopilot filling. Guided Autopilot may advance non-final Next, Continue, or Done steps, but never submits an application. • Review private answers and the shared default job-portal login separately for each application before anything is filled. SAFETY BY DESIGN • TrackMyOPT never auto-submits job applications. • It never clicks Login, Create Account, Review, Apply, or Submit. • It never overwrites completed fields or existing uploaded files. • It never asks AI to guess visa, sponsorship, citizenship, salary, DOB, EEO, or other sensitive answers. • A saved portal password is used only in clearly identified Password, Create Password, or Confirm Password fields. SSN, date-of-birth, financial, bank, account-number, security-answer, OTP, MFA, PIN, and uncertain fields are skipped. • Portal credentials are not sent to AI or analytics and are not stored in Chrome sync storage. A TrackMyOPT account is required. Some features and usage limits depend on your plan.
