Opens your Tracklead previews, guides you through Tag Assistant and sends the session export to your Tracklead run.

Tracklead tracking check verifies that your tracking setup really works, using Google Tag Assistant's own preview. Who it is for Tracklead users who have set up tracking through Tracklead and want proof that every event reaches the right place: from your website, through your Google Tag Manager web container and your own tagging server, to platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Meta. How it works 1. In Tracklead, click "Start with the extension" on your project. 2. The extension opens the Tag Assistant preview for your web container and the preview of your server container. 3. A small panel on the preview page tells you what to do on your site, for example submit a form or click a phone number. 4. When you are done, export the session in Tag Assistant as usual. The extension picks up the export and sends it to your Tracklead run. 5. Tracklead compares the export with what your setup should send and shows the verdict per event and per platform. Why use it - No downloading and uploading files by hand. - A clear verdict per event: arrived, rejected, or not seen in this session. - Consent findings are shown as warnings, so you see when consent blocked an event. Privacy - The extension only runs on tagassistant.google.com and on the preview page of your own tagging server, and only in tabs it opened itself. - The session export goes only to your own Tracklead account. Nothing is sent anywhere else. - No browsing history is collected and no data is sold or shared. You need a Tracklead account to use this extension. Manual upload of the export in Tracklead remains available if you prefer not to install it.
