What TraceGuard does • Website Safety Score (WSS): A 0–100 safety rating for every site, based on reputation, tracker activity, cookies, input fields, and policy strength. • User Privacy Score (UPS): A dynamic behavioral score that reflects your personal privacy health over time. • Real-time tracker detection: Identifies third-party trackers using a curated list plus bundled databases (DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, EasyPrivacy, and Disconnect). • Personal data protection: Detects sensitive form inputs — emails, passwords, payment details — and warns you before you submit personal data to low-trust sites. • Cookie auditing: Detects tracking cookies from Set-Cookie headers and the DOM. Only names and metadata are read, never cookie values. • Policy grading: Knows how trustworthy a site's terms are before you agree, via ToS;DR — with an optional live lookup you can enable. • Phishing & malware protection: Blocks dangerous sites using frequently updated blocklists (OpenPhish and phishunt), verified with signed, tamper-proof updates.
