PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Everything you highlight stays on your device unless you sign in with Google. No account needed to start using Trace. SYNC ACROSS DEVICES Sign in once and your highlights and notes follow you — restored automatically when you revisit a page. SHARE WITH YOUR GROUP Invite a small group (a book club, a study group, a research team) and see each other's highlights as a colored overlay on shared pages. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly choose to.
