Overview
Check websites are accessible, use valid HTML and CSS, and have no broken links or spelling mistakes. Requires separate application.
Our chrome extension allows you to check web pages or entire sites as you browse. The range of tests includes: Accessibility (WCAG 2.0-2.2, US-508, ARIA 1.2), HTML (over 20 standards, including the latest HTML5), CSS (over 60 different specifications) , a broken links checker, and a multi-language spell checker. It works in combination with a copy of the Total Validator application, which must be installed and running. Go to our website to download either our free Test application (one page validation results), or upgrade to Total Validator Basic (test one page at a time), or Total Validator Pro (fully featured for testing entire websites).

Couldn't get it to work. The application went through it's process and then nothing happened.

Never could get it to work. "Could not contact the Total Validator application." Port numbers match, application was "live" but minimized.

You need to click the 'Listen' button and not just minimise the app. The next release simplifies this further and will just require that the app is running. It will also allow the extension to be run from the app. We don't get notified when reviews are posted, so if you need help then please contact us directly using the feedback form on our website.
