Total Focus

Blocks distracting sites for a set time. A password keeps you from quitting on impulse.

You sit down to work, and a minute later your hands have opened the feed on their own. Total Focus closes that path for as long as you choose. How it works: 1. Click the icon and pick your time – 25, 50, 90 minutes, or your own. 2. Pick a mode: block the distractions, or keep only your work sites open. 3. Press "Start focus". Everything in the way is closed until the session ends. Instead of the feed you get a calm screen with one line – "Focus on your work" – and a timer showing what is left. What is inside: • A ready list of distracting sites out of the box. The list is yours – add and remove anything. • A "Block this site" button: if you got stuck somewhere else, close it in one click straight from the extension. • Quick blocking: a right-click on the page or a keyboard shortcut adds the site to the list without opening the extension. • "Work sites only" mode: nothing is open except what you allowed. • A password for stopping early. You set it yourself and write it down far from your desk, so leaving a session out of habit stops working. • Counters: sessions today and how many times you hit the block screen. • Twenty languages: the extension follows your browser, and you can switch it by hand in settings. An honest note on limits: any Chrome extension can be switched off in browser settings, this one included. Total Focus adds friction, not a prison wall. The password turns quitting into a decision instead of a reflex. And it works in Chrome on a computer – it will not close apps on your phone. The extension collects no data and sends nothing anywhere. Your site lists, settings and password stay in your browser.
