To provide speech and voice capabilities for languages that are only supported in translation by Google Translate
Have you ever been travelling and come across a speaker of a rare language and been unable to use Google Translate to communicate with them because there is no voice and speech input. This extension solves that by providing these services for languages that are only supported in translate by Google Translate, providing similar service with distinct buttons that don't interfere with the normal function of Google Translate. This means that in languages that have hard to locate or nonexistent speech and transcript capabilities like Macedonian, Somali, Irish and many more are now supported in a convenient extension to Google Translate. ***WARNING**** - This extension tracks the DOM when on the Google Translate website: translate.google.com. - This extension uses the microphone to provide transcripts in supported languages. Your audio data is sent directly to the speech recognition service for processing and is not permanently stored or logged. - Any user generated data is anonymized and collected for the sole purpose of improving services. - The services of this extension are rendered upon payment and payment details are handled entirely by Paypal.
