)

Overview
Full page, a region you drag, or one element. One shot, no stitching, no seams. PNG or JPEG, 1x or 2x, then annotate and redact.
Screenshot the whole page in one shot, not the visible part, and not a stitched strip with seams through it. Most full-page screenshot tools scroll down, take a series of pictures and glue them together. Sticky headers get duplicated, lazy-loaded images arrive late and appear half-drawn, and the joins show. This asks Chrome for the entire page as a single image, so there is nothing to stitch and nothing to go wrong. FOUR WAYS TO CAPTURE - Whole Page, the full scrolling length of it - Visible, just what is on screen - Select, drag a box over anything - Element, hover a card, table or chart and click it Element is not a tidier Select. It reads the real bounds of the thing you clicked, so a table taller than your window still comes out whole. EXPAND PAGE FIRST On by default. It opens collapsed sections and waits for lazy images and feeds to finish loading before capturing, so you get the article and not the grey placeholders. Turn it off when you want the page exactly as it sits. THE IMAGE PNG for crisp text, JPEG for photo-heavy pages, 1x or 2x for retina. ANNOTATE AND REDACT Copy opens the capture straight in the editor: arrows, boxes, text, free draw, and pixelation to hide client names and account numbers. Undo is exact, because nothing is ever painted onto your image. HONEST ABOUT LIMITS Chrome cannot draw an image larger than 16384px on a side. Rather than hand you a screenshot that quietly stops half way, this works out the largest size that fits, tells you the scale it used, and says so when a page was too long to capture whole. PRIVACY Everything happens on your machine and the file goes to your downloads folder. Nothing is uploaded, there is no server to upload it to. No account, no analytics, no network requests at all.
