Toolars Developer Toolkit provides everyday development utilities in Chrome’s side panel, alongside the page you are working on. Use it to inspect structured data, clean up text, check a hash or preview a color style without switching tabs. Open the panel from the toolbar, find a tool and paste your input. You can also select text on a page and choose a Toolars action from the right-click menu. Copy the result when you are done, and keep frequently used tools in your favorites. For example, you can format a JSON response to make it easier to read, or convert a timestamp with an explicit time zone. Token inspection decodes JWT headers and payloads locally; it does not verify signatures or establish that the claims are trustworthy. The bundled tools work offline and require no account. The extension does not upload tool content or include analytics, advertising or remote runtime code. Favorites and recent tool identifiers stay on your device. Selected text is delivered through temporary browser-session storage and removed after delivery; cleanup of undelivered text can be delayed while the background worker is suspended. Inputs and outputs are not saved as persistent history. Optional website actions open toolars.com only when you choose them and require an internet connection. These links do not carry selected text, image addresses or files. For an image or document task, select the file yourself on the website, where the website’s privacy policy applies. Free to use. Requires Chrome 123 or later. The default shortcut is Alt+Shift+Y; you can change it in Chrome’s extension shortcut settings.
