Tonify by Musestar is a powerful Chrome extension for musicians that gives you complete control over song playback directly in your browser. Built for guitarists, singers, producers, music students, and anyone learning songs from platforms like YouTube, Tonify makes it easy to transpose music, change song key, adjust pitch, slow down audio, and loop sections for focused practice. You can shift songs up or down in real time without affecting speed, or fine-tune pitch beyond standard semitone steps for precise tuning adjustments. The playback speed control allows you to slow down fast solos, complex riffs, and difficult vocal runs without changing pitch, making it an ideal tool for music practice, transcription, and ear training. Tonify also includes a built-in audio mixer and multi-band equalizer with bass, low mid, mid, and treble controls, allowing you to shape the sound and better isolate instruments within a mix. Whether you want to boost bass frequencies, reduce mids, or enhance clarity in the highs, the EQ gives you practical control for detailed listening. Dynamic controls let you switch between stereo and mono audio and adjust left and right balance, which can help isolate parts that are panned to one side of a recording.
