Overview

Your important messages, out loud.

Toldya reads selected new Discord Web messages aloud so you can hear important alerts without watching the screen. Choose the Discord channel you want to monitor, optionally filter messages by author, ignore phrases you don't want spoken, and select the language, installed voice, speech rate, and pitch. Toldya uses Chrome/OS text-to-speech for playback. Toldya is designed for new messages only. When you turn listening on, existing visible history is not replayed. Current support: • Discord Web in Chrome (discord.com) • One selected channel • Everyone or one selected author • Language, voice, rate, and pitch controls • Phrases to ignore • TTS on/off Not yet supported: • Discord desktop app Not currently supported: • Discord mobile • Slack, Teams, Gmail, WhatsApp A Toldya license is required. Privacy: selected Discord message text, channel ID, and configured ignore phrases are sent to the Toldya backend for message preparation. Speech is produced locally using Chrome/OS text-to-speech. See the privacy policy for details. Toldya requires a separate paid license after installation. Licenses are sold by Friendly Alien Studio, not by Google.
