Token Extractor for Stay Green

Reads your own Slack session tokens and opens Stay Green with them prefilled, so adding a workspace is one click.

Connect a Slack workspace to Stay Green in one click — no DevTools required. Stay Green keeps your Slack status active on a schedule across multiple workspaces. To do that it needs your own Slack session tokens, which normally means digging through DevTools by hand. This extension does it for you. Open the popup while you're on a Slack tab you're signed in to, and it will: • Read your tokens locally — the workspace token and the session cookie, straight from the Slack tab in front of you. • Know where you stand — if you're signed in to Stay Green, it offers to reconnect the matching workspace or add a new one. If you're not, it opens Stay Green so you can sign in first, then prefills the tokens for you. • Always give you a fallback — a one-click "Copy tokens" button if you'd rather paste them manually. Your credentials stay yours. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The extension only navigates you to Stay Green in a new tab, carrying the tokens in the URL — which Stay Green strips out immediately so they never linger in your history. No content scripts run in the background; code only executes when you open the popup. Why the permissions? • Cookies + access to slack.com — to read the session cookie, which can't be reached any other way. • Scripting + tabs — to read the workspace token from the active Slack tab and open Stay Green in a new tab. • Access to staygreen.online — to ask the app (using your existing session) whether you're signed in, so the popup can offer "reconnect" vs. "add new".
