TL;PR makes long GitHub pull request and issue conversations easier to read and review. It collapses long human comments, keeps the first two and last three items of crowded timelines visible, and reveals the rest on demand. Comments being edited remain accessible. Version 0.2.2 makes controls resilient when GitHub replaces or hydrates a conversation, protects drafts during timeline folding, and improves processing of long timelines. Toolbar popup settings stay local: enablement, language, animations, and state colors. The optional merge-text helper is off by default. After enabling it, you can preview and copy a rendered template or explicitly click Insert to fill only the merge form’s extended description. It preserves the default commit title and manually edited descriptions. It never submits a form, approves a pull request, or performs a merge. TL;PR loads a navigation-only bootstrap on GitHub so conversations opened without reloading are supported. Outside supported numeric PR/issue conversations it only reads the URL and listens for navigation, without reading page content, changing the DOM, collecting or transmitting data. Reading controls and styles activate only inside supported conversations. Folding state stays in GitHub site storage; toolbar preferences use chrome.storage.local without synchronization. No page content or preferences are transmitted. No GitHub API calls, telemetry, remote services, or remotely hosted code. English and French interfaces included. Version 0.2.2 also displays the installed version in the toolbar popup, directly from the extension manifest.
