Overview
Send YouTube, X, Vimeo & more to the TLDW Mac app — one click, or queue a batch and send them all at once.
Send any YouTube, X, or Vimeo video to the TLDW Mac app in one click — and get back a clean Markdown note or a ready-to-use AI agent skill, transcribed and summarized right on your Mac. What it does - Adds a "Send to TLDW" button to video pages. Click it and the video goes straight to the app — no copying and pasting links. - Queue videos as you browse and send the whole batch at once from the toolbar. - Hands off to the TLDW app, which transcribes the video locally on your Mac and summarizes it with the AI you choose. Why install it - Capture what matters from a video without watching all of it — turn talks, tutorials, and threads into searchable notes for your second brain (Obsidian, Notion, Markdown). - Build reusable agent skills from how-to videos for Claude, Codex, and Cursor. - Save it for later: stack up a batch of videos while you browse, then process them all in one go. - Private by design — no account, no servers, nothing uploaded by the extension. Your queue stays in your browser. Requires the free TLDW Mac app (macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon). Get it at trytldw.app.
