TIP - AI Trust ID lets creators register their content on the TIP Protocol with a cryptographic proof of origin. Declare whether your content is human-made, AI-assisted, AI-generated, or mixed, and receive a permanent Content Trust Identifier (CTID). FOR CREATORS The extension detects content-creation pages on popular publishing and social platforms and injects a registration panel directly into the platform's interface. When you register content: - Your content is hashed locally using SHAKE-256. The actual content is never transmitted. - The hash is signed with your ML-DSA-65 post-quantum private key. - The signature and hash are recorded on the TIP Protocol DAG. - You receive a CTID to include in your content description for public verification. Origin codes let you declare how your content was made: - OH (Original Human): created entirely by you - AA (AI-Assisted): you are the primary author, AI tools helped - AG (AI-Generated): AI is the primary creator - MX (Mixed): combines human and AI elements FOR VIEWERS The extension reads TIP Protocol headers and meta tags on any website. When verified content is detected: - Trust badges appear next to verified creator names on supported platforms - A floating trust badge shows on any TIP-verified page - CTIDs in page text become clickable verification links SECURITY Your private key never leaves your device. It is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and protected by biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or Windows Hello) through WebAuthn. Content signing uses ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204), a post-quantum cryptographic algorithm. No passwords are transmitted to any server. The extension does not collect browsing data, does not track your activity, and does not use analytics. Only content hashes and signatures are sent to the TIP Protocol node when you explicitly register content.
