Track active tab URL and send to a local Timodesk app.

Timodesk URL Tracker is a lightweight browser extension that captures the active tab URL and securely sends it to the locally running Timodesk desktop application. This extension is designed to support environments where operating system-level URL tracking is not available (such as certain Linux distributions). In such cases, the extension acts as a bridge between the browser and the Timodesk desktop app. It helps ensure accurate time tracking by: Monitoring the currently active browser tab Sending the active URL to the Timodesk desktop application Enabling productivity insights for web-based work Maintaining consistent tracking across supported platforms The extension communicates only with the locally running Timodesk application (via http://127.0.0.1) and does not transmit browsing data to any external servers. This ensures: Secure local communication No third-party data sharing Privacy-focused tracking Timodesk URL Tracker works only when the Timodesk desktop app is installed and running.
