Overview

Local-only timing profiler for discovery of timing side-channels. Active probe opt-in. Use only on authorized targets.

Timing Side-Channel Profiler (TSP) is a developer and security testing tool that helps identify performance and timing anomalies in web applications. With TSP, you can: Monitor fetch() and XMLHttpRequest timings. Observe resource loading metrics (DNS, connect, redirect, response). Track paint events (first paint, first contentful paint). Run controlled active probes (opt-in) to compare response times across endpoints. Export results for offline analysis (e.g., JSON → Jupyter notebook). This extension is designed for developers, researchers, and bug bounty hunters who need visibility into possible timing-based vulnerabilities or performance bottlenecks. ⚠️ Note: This tool does not collect personal data or transmit logs externally. All captured data stays local to the user’s browser.
