Overview

Convert Unix timestamps to local, UTC, ISO 8601 and relative time, and back. Live epoch clock, one-click copy.

Paste the epoch number out of a log line and read the date without leaving the tab. Timestamp Converter opens on a ticking epoch clock, converts in both directions, and lets you copy every representation with a single click. The "Timestamp to date" tab reads seconds, milliseconds, microseconds or nanoseconds — it detects the unit from the magnitude of the number and tells you which one it picked, or you can pin the unit yourself. The "Date to timestamp" tab goes the other way from a date-and-time picker that resolves down to the second. Key features: - Detect the epoch unit automatically — seconds, milliseconds, microseconds or nanoseconds — or pin one with the unit chips - Read one instant as local time, UTC, ISO 8601 (UTC and local-with-offset), RFC 2822, Unix seconds and Unix milliseconds, each with its own copy button - Watch a live epoch clock with a millisecond fraction, pause and resume it, and copy the current time in seconds or milliseconds - See the relative distance from now ("3 days ago", "in 2 hours") phrased in your own language - Check the calendar facts of any instant: day of week, day of year, ISO week number, quarter, UTC offset, IANA time zone and whether it is a leap year - Build a timestamp from a date-and-time picker, interpreting the fields as local time or as UTC, then hand the result straight back to the converter - Jump to Now, start of today, an hour ago, a day ago, a week ago or the start of the year in one tap - Paste messy numbers — thousands separators, underscores and stray whitespace are stripped, negatives and decimals are accepted, and out-of-range values are flagged instead of silently wrapping - Switch between 24-hour and 12-hour clocks, and use the popup in any of 53 interface languages Privacy: every conversion is plain date arithmetic executed inside the popup. The extension makes zero network requests, has no host permissions, reads nothing from the pages you visit, and collects no analytics. Only your own display preferences are kept, on your device.
