Overview

Replace all prices with time based on your hourly wage.

This extension replaces prices on all shopping websites (Amazon, eBay, Target, etc...) with how many hours you would have to spend working to make enough money to pay that price. This is calculated based on your hourly wage after state and federal taxes. (Idea Credit: Aaron Z. Lewis)

This implementation replaces the number completely so you are not able to see the actual price It does not recognize text strings such as thousand, million

I think this extension is so helpful, HOWEVER, it would be super great if you could also enter the number of hours in your typical workday for very large purchases. For example, I had something up that said it was only going to take 132 days of work to pay off, but multiplied by the typical # of hours in a workday (8), it actually came out to 1056 days! From ~1/3 of a year to almost 3 years! Huge difference in mental framing.
