They sent the pitch. Give them the homework. Time Waster turns a cold sales email into a receptive reply with a focused follow-up request. Ask for the example, breakdown or assumptions behind their pitch, with a natural reason to explain more. One short question can take a detailed answer. Open an email in Gmail or Fastmail, then click the Time Waster toolbar icon. Your reply appears in the native reply editor, ready for you to review, edit and send. Choose how much of their time: • Quick — a concise, conversational request for a specific example or explanation. • Essay — a fuller reply with two or three connected questions, aiming for 200–350 words. Keeps complete sentences when time runs out. Rotating lines of inquiry help the AI ask different questions about the actual pitch. The model writes its own wording; recent-output checks reduce repetition. Your email stays on your device for AI processing. Time Waster uses Chrome’s built-in Gemini Nano model. There is no account, API key, cloud AI service or subscription. If local AI cannot produce a usable reply, your editor stays untouched and you can try again. Replies use a warm, professional tone and specific requests tied to the email. Drafts are generated for the selected email and checked for repeated wording against recent replies. Your sign-off is added automatically. Native signatures and quoted history are preserved. Click again after generation to replace the current reply draft, including edits made before the click. Edits made during generation are protected. Error messages have a Copy error button. Time Waster never sends email automatically. It reads the selected message only after you click, and does not scan your inbox or access your calendar. Requires desktop Chrome 148 or later. AI generation also requires a device supported by Chrome’s built-in AI and a one-time model download managed by Chrome. Replies are written in English. Generation speed varies by device and message.
