Time Grasp

See how much usable time you really have left before bed.

Time Grasp is a Chrome extension that shows you exactly how much usable time you have left before bed. Set your bedtime and nightly routine, and Time Grasp subtracts your routine time to calculate the real window you have before you need to start winding down. The main screen shows a live countdown, a circular progress ring, your current time, bedtime, and a "finish by" time. As time runs low, the ring shifts colors to reflect urgency. When it's time to start your routine, the extension shows "Time's Up." In settings, enter your bedtime in any format and build a routine out of individual actions like showering or brushing teeth. Choose which actions count toward the total. Everything saves automatically. The to-do tab lets you add tasks with estimated durations, reorder them, and sort by time. Time Grasp compares your unfinished tasks against your remaining time and tells you whether everything still fits. Get notified at 30 minutes, 5 minutes, and when time is up — with distinct audio tones for each alert, adjustable volume, and a sound preview button. This is fully customizable and can be toggled to your liking. Time Grasp is designed to answer one practical question clearly: "how much time do I actually have left tonight before I need to stop and start getting ready for bed?" This project is open source!
