Make the Jira Cloud Timeline easy to read at a glance: color Planning Tasks, Milestones and Epics the way your team sets them up, mark weekends and public holidays, and see working days when you hover over a bar. ■ Made for teams like this Several short projects run at the same time (for example small games, live-ops events or marketing campaigns), and each one is handed from role to role: art, engineering, QA, marketing. The main board schedules the work with Planning Tasks and Milestones, and each role's board filters to its own part. You don't need this setup to use colors, holidays and working days. ■ Features • Issue type colors: custom colors for Planning Tasks and Milestones; Milestones can show as diamonds • Epic flag: dashed outline on Epics, based on a field chosen by your admin • Weekends and holidays: days off are shaded on the timeline, from the holidays and make-up workdays your admin lists (make-up workdays count as working days) • Working days: hover over or drag a bar to see its working days, with weekends and holidays excluded • Milestone progress: hover to see linked issues, progress and due date • Floating toolbar: turn the extension on or off, or reload data, at any time ■ Getting started • If your Jira admin saved the settings in the project: just open the project's Timeline • If your admin gave you a configuration file (JSON): click the extension icon > "Manage settings" > import and save, then open the Timeline The extension uses your current Jira sign-in. You never enter a password or API token. ■ For Jira admins Share the settings either way: save them in a Jira project property (the format is documented publicly), so teammates need no setup; or create a configuration file with the built-in generator in "Manage settings" and send it to your team.
