TileTab
Overview
Your links as a new tab: grouped, icon-labelled tiles. Offline, nothing leaves the browser.
TileTab replaces the new tab page with a grid of your own links. Links are shown as tiles in four sizes, grouped into sections you name, and each tile is coloured after the service it points to. A category rail on the left jumps between sections. Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) to search every link by name. Editing happens in place. Drag tiles to reorder them or to move them into another section. Pick from about 5,200 built-in icons or upload your own logo. Choose whether links open in a new tab or the current one. A "Most opened" row appears once a few links have been clicked. Your data stays in the browser. TileTab requests only the storage permission, has no host permissions, and never makes a network request. Export and Import move your links between browsers as a JSON file. Free and open source. Respects the reduced-motion setting.
