Tile Pad
Overview
A customizable speed dial for your new tab page
Tile Pad turns your Chrome new tab page into a personal speed dial. Pin the sites you visit most, arrange them in a clean grid, and group related ones into folders. Everything stays in your browser — no account, no servers, no tracking. FEATURES • Tile grid — visually arrange bookmarks in rows and columns you control • Folders — drag one bookmark onto another, or right-click an empty grid cell to create an empty folder; nested grids keep things tidy • Custom wallpapers — pick from bundled photos and abstract patterns or upload your own • Personalized appearance — theme (light/dark/system), fonts, tile size, grid density, and color schemes • Quick search — search your bookmarks directly from the new tab page, or type "bm" in the address bar • Context menu — right-click on any page to add it to Tile Pad • Keyboard shortcut — Cmd/Ctrl+B to quickly add the current tab • Auto-generated previews — nice tile thumbnails pulled from each site's Open Graph image, web manifest, or favicon • Custom icons — override any tile's icon with your own image • Chrome Sync support — optional sync across your Chrome installations • Export & import — back up and restore your entire setup as a file PRIVACY Everything lives in your browser. Tile Pad does not run any servers, does not collect any data, does not show ads, and does not track you. The only network requests the extension makes are to the sites you bookmark, to fetch preview images — never to any Tile Pad server (because there isn't one). See https://tilepad.org for more.
