Tilder — On-Device AI Assistant
Overview
Ask questions about any page, video, or doc you're viewing — answered on-device, with a web search fallback when needed.
Tilder is a Chrome extension that answers questions about whatever page you're reading, summarizes articles and YouTube videos, and searches the web when it needs to — powered by AI that runs right on your device. By default, Tilder answers using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model — nothing you ask has to leave your browser. Want deeper reasoning? Download Google's Gemma 4 model once, right from the side panel, for noticeably smarter answers, still fully on-device. If the page doesn't have your answer, Tilder checks the web and shows exactly where each fact came from — it never guesses quietly. Features: - Ask anything about the page you're viewing - One-click page summaries - YouTube video summaries, built from the actual transcript - Google Docs support - Optional free upgrade to a stronger on-device model (Gemma 4) - Web search fallback with cited sources, only when the page and the model's own knowledge fall short Tilder is free, requires no account, and needs no API key.
