When you click the “Start” button in the extension popup, the extension will open a new TikTok tab and begin the removal process. Here's how it works step by step: 1. It opens the TikTok website in a new browser tab. 2. It checks if you’re logged in. If you are, it proceeds automatically. 3. It navigates to your user profile. 4. It accesses the “Favorites” tab on your profile page. 5. It clicks to open the first favorite video. 6. It unfavorites the video by simulating a user click on the favorite (heart) icon. 7. It waits a few seconds, then navigates to the next video. 8. This loop continues until there are no more favorite videos to process. The extension includes timed delays between actions (typically 3 seconds) to ensure smooth interaction with TikTok's interface and reduce the chance of rate-limiting. If TikTok temporarily prevents further interactions (which can happen after many rapid actions), the extension will stop automatically. In this case, it’s recommended to wait about 1 hour and try again. Once the process is complete, you can refresh your Favorites tab on TikTok to confirm that the videos have been successfully removed. There’s no need to scroll, click repeatedly, or interact manually during the process — just log in to TikTok, launch the extension, and let it handle everything for you.
