tl;dr - It reads the .tif files I tried. Great for a "quick-view" if you're trying to identify a particular tif which has had some human-unfriendly, 8-bit naming convention assigned. Don't expect anything more and you won't be disappointed. Rated "just okay" For serious viewing with editing/conversion capabilities, I'd recommend looking for a better browser-based editor or, in the case of ChromeOS, flick over to Linux and install GIMP via Flatpack, if available. --- Unlike Leo discovered in... it seems there is no difference between tif and tiff files. well, this thing called extention will not recognize tif files from a mile away.
