Tidy for Jira: Linked Work & Cascading Views
Overview
Group linked work in Jira List and Board, with optional status syncing.
Keep related Jira work together. Expand a work item to see its linked work in the same List or Board, so you can follow the work without jumping between issues. Choose how your team sees related work • Group linked items beneath the work they belong with. • Choose which work types appear above others, or set your own order. • Include all links, or choose links coming into or going out of an item. • Open linked work through Jira’s normal issue view. Jira’s parent relationships and subtasks stay as they are. Grouping changes where linked work appears, while each item keeps its own status. Optional status syncing Turn on Sync linked status if you want unfinished linked work to follow a supported item when you drag it to another Board column. This setting starts off. Work that is already Done stays Done. Try the examples in settings to see how grouping, display order and status syncing work before changing your choices. Where Tidy works This release works on the Jira Cloud site it was set up for. It supports the English business-project List and Board views tested for Tidy. It does not yet support every Jira site or screen. Your work stays in Jira Tidy uses your existing Jira access. There is no Tidy account, advertising or analytics. Settings are saved in your browser, and Jira work is read directly from your Jira site. Tidy for Jira is an independent extension and is not affiliated with Atlassian.
