Overview
Convert prices into time-equivalents, helping you make value-based purchasing decisions.
When you shop on Amazon, our tool automatically converts the listed price into the amount of work time it represents based on your income. If you earn 20/hour and see a 60 item, you’ll instantly know that’s 3 hours of your life. Why this matters: Instant perspective — prices feel more real when measured in hours, not just currency. Curb impulse buys — “Is this worth 5 hours of my time?” is a powerful filter. Spot better value — compare products by how much life-time they cost you, not just the price tag. We’re starting with Amazon to make this tool simple and focused, but we’ll be expanding to more online and in-store retailers so you can make value-based decisions everywhere you shop.
