Overview
Detects ClickFix / ClearFake clipboard-hijack attacks and warns the user before they can paste a malicious command.
Threat Sense protects users from various scams and attacks from malicious or hijacked websites. When detected, the extension displays a warning overlay that persists until the user confirms they understand the risks. Threat Modules - Fake CAPTCHA: Analyzes clipboard content for attack patterns Once installed, Threat Sense works automatically: - Background Protection: The extension monitors all web pages you visit - Threat Detection: When an attack is detected, a warning overlay appears - User Confirmation: Review the warning and confirm before proceeding with the paste - Dashboard: Click the Threat Sense icon to view extension status Privacy Standards - No Data Transmission: All analysis happens locally in your browser - No Tracking: No telemetry or analytics collection - Open Source: Code is transparent and auditable on GitHub (lawndoc/threat-sense) - Verifiable Releases: Builds are automated, signed, and have provenance attestation Permissions - See GitHub repo for a full explanation of required permissions and source code
