Overview

Write thoughtful, on-topic YouTube comments and replies with AI, based on the video, its transcript, and the conversation.

Threadwise adds a Write with AI button to YouTube comment and reply boxes. Click it and you get a comment that fits the video you're watching, in the tone you pick. It reads the video's title, description and transcript (when YouTube has one), plus the comments already on the page. So on a cooking video it talks about the steak, and on a game trailer it talks about the game. Not another "great video". HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any YouTube video and click into a comment or reply box. 2. Click Write with AI. 3. Read it. Hit Regenerate for a different one, or switch the tone. 4. Post it yourself. Threadwise never posts anything for you. Already have an idea? Type a rough version first and Threadwise will tidy it up without changing your point. WHAT YOU CAN CHANGE - 7 tones: Insightful, Supportive, Question, Witty, Counterpoint, Expert, Casual - 3 lengths: one line, a few sentences, or a short paragraph - Language: leave it blank to match the video, or type any language you want - About you: one line about yourself so comments sound more like you - Optional emoji - Deep mode (optional): Gemini watches the public video itself for more detail. Slower, and it uses more of your Gemini quota. REPLIES In a reply box, Threadwise reads the comment you're answering and replies to that person, not just to the video. WHAT YOU NEED - A Threadwise license key. Threadwise is a paid extension with a one-time price and no subscription. Buy it at https://ezerocollective.gumroad.com/l/jbynxe and the key arrives in your receipt. - A free Google Gemini API key from https://aistudio.google.com/apikey. The popup links to it and takes about a minute to set up. PRIVACY Threadwise has no servers, no analytics and no ads. Your keys and settings are saved in your browser. When you click Write with AI, the video details go straight from your browser to Google's Gemini API using your own key. Your license key is checked with Gumroad about once a week.
