Threadwing is one local-first workspace for very long ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini conversations. • Provider-aware capture and reversible offscreen optimization keep long conversations responsive. ChatGPT additionally uses graph-valid adaptive response projection. • A measured virtual timeline can load every conversation exchange available from the provider, search every readable user and assistant message, and jump back to the original message. It follows only the active supported AI-chat tab and clears stale content on other pages. • Search supports quoted phrases and focused filters for role, code, math, images, files, and the active branch where branch data is available. • Safe apply preserves the current draft, selection, and scroll position during an intentional refresh. • Export Studio creates deterministic Markdown, text, versioned JSON, a navigable self-contained HTML archive, or a polished print/PDF document. Choose all messages or answers only, portrait or landscape PDF, and Formal, Mint, or Monochrome appearance. Selected first-party images are embedded only on demand; headings, emphasis, fenced code, tables, formulae, and safe source links are preserved. Threadwing has no backend, account system, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or conversation upload. Conversation data and its search index remain in extension-origin storage on your device.
