Threadly
Overview
Slack-style threads on AI chat responses.
Threadly adds contextual side threads to ChatGPT so you can ask follow-up questions about a specific passage without losing your place. Highlight text in an assistant response, click Thread, and continue the conversation in a dedicated side panel. Each thread stays attached to the passage you selected, making it easier to explore explanations, examples, and follow-up questions while keeping the original response visible. Threadly uses Groq to generate contextual AI replies. During this beta, users provide their own Groq API key through the extension settings. Key features: • Create a thread from highlighted text in ChatGPT • Ask contextual follow-up questions in a side panel • Keep separate discussions attached to different passages • Markdown-formatted AI responses • Your Groq API key is stored locally in Chrome extension storage • No Threadly backend is used in this beta BETA NOTICE: Threadly is currently an experimental beta. Threads are not yet persisted across page refreshes, and ChatGPT interface changes may occasionally affect compatibility.
