Threadline is a focused Chrome extension for analysts and operators who need a clean workspace to capture comments from a Douyin video page and export them to Excel. Core capabilities: - Capture comments from the current logged-in Douyin video page - Export structured Excel files with comment fields and summary metrics - Keep recent task history inside the extension - Re-export cached results later without re-running the task - Work in a low-permission mode with only local storage and download permissions What Threadline does: - Runs only on https://www.douyin.com/* - Uses the current browser login state on the active Douyin video page - Stores task state and cached exports locally in the browser - Downloads generated Excel files to the browser's default download directory What Threadline does not do: - It does not run on unrelated websites - It does not request debugger permissions - It does not upload company code or local files to a remote server - It does not bypass enterprise SSO Important note: Threadline can only capture comments that are accessible to the current Douyin web session. If Douyin limits or hides some comments on the web version, the export may not match the visible count shown elsewhere.
