Thread Numberer for X
Overview
Auto-number your X (Twitter) thread posts in any format with one click. Re-numbers and updates totals as you add or remove posts.
Number your X (Twitter) thread posts automatically, so you never have to count and renumber by hand. Write your thread, click "Number thread," and every post gets numbered in the format you choose. Add or remove a post and click again — the numbers re-sequence and the totals update, with no leftover or duplicated numbers. FORMATS • 1/5, 2/5, … — with a running total • 1/, 2/, … — open-ended (when you don't know the final length yet) • 1., 2., … — simple numbering • Custom template using {n} and {total}, e.g. "{n} of {total}" OPTIONS • Place the number at the start or the end of each post • Put the number on its own line with your text below it, or keep it inline • Live preview of your chosen format in the popup HOW TO USE 1. Open the X composer and write your thread (2 or more posts). 2. Click the "Number thread" button at the top of the composer. 3. Every post is numbered. Click again any time you add or remove a post. PRIVACY This extension runs entirely in your browser. It only reads and updates the text in the thread composer when you click the button, and saves your format preference locally on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of their respective owners.
