Overview
Highlight passages on web pages and send them to thinky, filed on the article's own page.
thinky highlights is the companion to thinky, a small, fast outliner for Logseq-style Markdown notes on Windows (https://srikanth-iyer.github.io/thinky). Select words on any web page and press Ctrl+Shift+H, or right-click and choose Highlight for thinky. The passage is marked on the page and kept in the extension until you send it. Click the toolbar button to see your highlights for that article, drop any you don't want, and send them all to your notes with one click. They go to a page named after the article, with a link back to it, and each highlight links to its exact place on the web page. You can also send selected text straight to today's journal (Alt+Shift+J). Private by design: the extension talks only to the thinky app on the same computer. It sends nothing to any server, keeps no account and has no tracking. It reads a page only when you use it there. Needs the thinky Windows app (free, open source), set up once from Settings > Capture > Highlights from your browser.
