Thinking Renamer lets you personalize the animated "Thinking...", "Pondering...", "Reasoning..." indicator that Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini show while they're reasoning — replace it with any name you want, like a custom assistant name or your own name. WHAT IT DOES While Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini is working through a response, the page cycles through a handful of single-word status labels and, once done, shows a collapsed duration header or toggle (e.g. "Thought for 12 seconds", "Reasoned for 8 seconds", or "Show thinking"). This extension quietly swaps that specific text for whatever name you set in the popup — nothing else on the page is touched. Your chosen name and settings are stored locally using Chrome's built-in sync storage and are never sent to any server operated by this extension's developer.
