Most weak answers from AI come from a prompt that leaves the AI guessing: who it is for, how long, what shape, what to avoid. Prompt Score puts a small score beside the message box in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. It updates as you type. Click it to see the three things your prompt is missing most, each with its plain question, and press Add to put a labeled line such as "Audience:" or "Length:" into your message, with the cursor ready for your answer. The score uses the same ten checks as the free Prompt Grader on thinkhard.si: what to make, who it is for, background facts, length, format, what to avoid, what good looks like, an example, what to do if unsure, and a layout that suits the AI you are using. Private by design. The score is worked out inside the page you are on. The extension makes no network requests, collects nothing and has no account. The only thing it stores is the on/off switch in its popup. Want more? "Open in the Grader" opens your prompt in the full Grader on thinkhard.si, which asks one question per missing check and rebuilds the prompt as you answer. The prompt travels in the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to a server. Check anything you select (new in 1.1). Select text on any page, right-click and choose Check with thinkhard.si: see whether an AI answer did what you asked, fact-check it, find what sounds machine-made, clean it up for pasting into Word or Slack, grade it as a prompt, or check a task before you give it to a coding agent.
