Overview

Save the papers you read to your Thesis Copilot library — from a button on the page, a page of results, or the PDF.

Reading a paper you want to cite? Press "Save to Thesis Copilot" and it goes straight into your thesis library: looked up, its free full text fetched where there is one, and ready to cite, read and chat with. • On any journal site: a "Save to Thesis Copilot" button sits beside the article's DOI. It also appears beside each Google Scholar, PubMed, arXiv and MDPI result, and a small "Save" beside papers in a reference list (on Wikipedia, for example). • Before you save, a small card shows the paper: authors, year, journal, volume and pages, how often it is cited, and whether it is open access. • Save a whole page of results: tick the papers you want and save up to 50 at once. You see which were saved, which were already in your library, and can retry any that failed. • A PDF open in your browser: attach it, so the paper is read in full straight away. • Choose the thesis and, if you like, a collection, or make a new collection on the spot. • Right-click a DOI or arXiv link: "Save to Thesis Copilot". • Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+S. • Light and dark themes. • Uses your existing Thesis Copilot sign-in. Nothing new to set up, no password stored. Privacy: to place its buttons, the add-on reads only the tags that describe an article on the page (its DOI, title, authors, journal and year) and the DOI links in the reference list, inside your browser. It sends nothing until you press a button, and then only that paper's details, to your own Thesis Copilot account. It never reads the page's text, other tabs or your browsing history. You can turn the buttons off for every site, or for one site, in its settings. You need a Thesis Copilot account: https://thesis.rademics.ai
