TheRejector
Overview
Rejects non-essential cookie banners first, then shows verified rejection or hidden-only fallback. No telemetry.
TheRejector is a privacy-focused cookie banner helper that automatically looks for cookie consent popups and rejects non-essential cookies when it can. Instead of blindly accepting cookies or simply hiding banners, TheRejector prioritizes rejecting tracking choices first. When a banner is handled, it reports what happened so you know whether the rejection was verified, whether a hidden-only fallback was used, or whether no supported banner was found. Features: • Automatically detects common cookie consent banners • Rejects non-essential cookies when supported • Avoids clicking “Accept All” by default • Shows clear status for the current site • Supports per-site controls • Includes a hide-only fallback when rejection cannot be verified • Stores settings locally • No telemetry • No analytics • No selling or sharing browsing data • No affiliate tracking TheRejector is built for people who are tired of cookie popups but still want a privacy-first default. Important limitations: Some websites use custom, heavily modified, or iframe-based cookie banners that may not be fully supported yet. In those cases, TheRejector may fail to reject the banner or may use a hidden-only fallback if enabled. The extension is designed to be honest about that difference. TheRejector is not an ad blocker. It is focused on cookie consent banners and rejection of non-essential consent choices where possible.
