theoremEd is a math tutor that sits beside your homework and refuses to do it for you. It is free to start — no account, no card, and no code to enter. Open a problem in any tab and press Look at screen. theoremEd reads what's there, works out where you actually got stuck, and asks you the one question that gets you moving again. It will tell you whether an answer you worked out yourself is right or wrong. It will not tell you the answer, and it does not change its mind about that no matter how you ask. WHAT IT DOES • Reads the problem on your screen, so you don't retype it • Finds the first place your reasoning goes wrong, and only that place • Gives hints in four steps, each one more specific, stopping at the edge of the step you have to take • Starts from the beginning of a topic and moves up the moment you show it you already know something • Has a built-in reference — 61 topics from fractions through integrals, plus pages on what to do when you are completely lost • Has a symbol keypad, so you can write real maths in the question box WHAT IT WON'T DO It won't state the final answer, finish the step for you, or hand you the same problem worked through with different numbers. If you say you're out of time, or that your teacher allows it, or that it already told you — the answer is still no. That's the whole point of it. FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE BEHIND Every explanation names the rule it's using in the same breath as using it. It doesn't say "just", "simply", or "as you know". If you're missing something you were supposed to have been taught last year, it sends you to the page that covers it and then asks you to apply it. PRIVACY theoremEd reads the tab you ask it about, at the moment you ask, and only then. Screenshots are sent to theoremEd's own server, passed to Anthropic's API to produce the reply, and not stored. The two most recent are kept in the conversation so follow-up questions make sense; older ones are dropped. It does not read your browsing history, does not track you across sites, and has no advertising in it. WHAT IT COSTS theoremEd is free to start: 25 questions straight away, then 5 a week after that, for as long as you want. No card, no account, no sign-up, and nothing to enter — install it and press Look at screen. If you need more than that, Basic is $19.99 a month for 150 questions and Plus is $29.99 a month for 400. Paying is the only thing that needs a code, and the code arrives with the purchase.
