Though it lacks the prominent horn of other unicornfish, its colorful face and streamlined body make it a striking sight. Yellowfin Unicornfish are herbivores that play a vital role in maintaining the health of the reef. They use their small mouths and specialized teeth to graze on algae, which prevents overgrowth on the coral and ensures that the ecosystem remains balanced.
