The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Discovered in 1974 by local farmers near Xi'an, the site contains thousands of life-sized figures, including soldiers, chariots, and horses, each with unique features and expressions. The Terracotta Army was created to accompany the emperor in the afterlife and is considered one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year who come to marvel at the craftsmanship and historical significance of the Terracotta Warriors.
