Overview

Save and switch browsing sessions, organize windows and tabs, and return to your work with history and recovery.

Your browser has a lot of context. Keep it together. The Session brings your Chrome windows and tabs into one workspace. Save a named session, put a window aside, and return to your work when you are ready. KEEP PROJECTS ORGANIZED • See the windows and tabs in your current workspace together. • Create named workspaces, then preview another one before switching. • Stash a whole window or selected tabs, then reopen them later. • Move, merge and split windows; keep native tab groups and pinned tabs organized. • Search across open work, saved sessions and History. SAVE YOUR PLACE • Save named copies of your sessions and export a session or library backup. • Use History, recovery snapshots, Trash and Undo to revisit earlier work. • Adjust restore pacing, stop a restore, and keep tabs that have already reopened. • Set automatic stashing rules and protect windows you want to leave open. MAKE IT YOURS • Choose light, dark, Midnight, Linen and other themes, compact lists, and one to four columns. • Use keyboard navigation and configurable shortcuts. • Choose English, Turkish or Simplified Chinese in Settings. YOUR DATA STAYS IN YOUR BROWSER PROFILE The Session stores its library locally in your Chrome profile. It does not include an account, analytics, advertising or cloud sync. The extension reads tab addresses, titles and window state to provide its session-management features. Tab addresses and titles can contain sensitive information. Website icons may be requested from their hosts, and reopening a tab contacts that website as usual. The extension does not encrypt local data or exported files. INCOGNITO IS OPTIONAL Allow incognito access in Chrome only if you choose to use The Session there. Live private-window previews are not saved. Saving private-window details requires a separate retention setting, which is off by default. If enabled, retained addresses and titles can remain in Saved sessions, History, recovery, Undo and Trash after private windows close. An incognito keeper window can help keep the private browser session available; close it when you intend to end that session. Reopening saved addresses cannot restore expired cookies, website memory, unsaved forms or sign-ins. GET STARTED Pin The Session to Chrome's toolbar and click its icon to open the session manager. Save a session, stash a window, and reopen it when you are ready. Export a backup before clearing local data or moving to another Chrome profile.
