The lion, often called the "King of the Jungle," is one of the most majestic and powerful animals in the wild. With its golden mane and commanding presence, the lion symbolizes strength, courage, and leadership. Unlike most big cats, lions are highly social and live in groups called prides, which consist of several females, their cubs, and a few dominant males. Lions are skilled hunters, working together to take down large prey such as zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes. They are most active at dawn and dusk, spending much of the day resting under the shade. Unfortunately, habitat loss and poaching have led to a decline in lion populations, making conservation efforts more crucial than ever. Despite these challenges, the lion remains an enduring symbol of the wild, admired for its power and grace.
