Accompanies The Hello POS. Used to enable printing on your thermal receipt printers, plus some other goodies.

The Hello POS Helper is a companion extension for The Hello POS, a web-based point-of-sale system used by retail stores and college bookstores. What it does: This extension enables communication between The Hello POS web application (app.thehellopos.com) and Epson thermal receipt printers connected to the local network. Web browsers cannot directly communicate with network printers due to security restrictions—this extension bridges that gap. Key Features: Receipt Printing – Sends print commands from The Hello POS to Epson ePOS-compatible thermal printers over the local network Print History – View recent print jobs with success/failure status in the side panel Reprint Receipts – One-click reprinting of any previous receipt directly from the side panel Cash Drawer Control – Open the cash drawer connected to your receipt printer without processing a transaction Test Print – Verify printer connectivity with a test page Troubleshooting Guide – Built-in help for common printer issues How it works: When a cashier completes a transaction in The Hello POS, the web app sends print data to this extension. The extension then forwards the print request to the configured Epson printer using the ePOS protocol over HTTP. Results are reported back to the web app and logged in the side panel for visibility. Required Setup: This extension only works with The Hello POS (app.thehellopos.com) and requires an Epson thermal receipt printer with ePOS Print enabled on your local network.
