The DM Companion is a lightweight browser overlay designed for Dungeon Masters who play online. Default Shortcut key to open it is: Ctrl + Shift + Space for PC, or Cmd + Shift + Space on Mac. Whether you use a Virtual Tabletop (like Roll20 or Foundry), a campaign manager (like D&D Beyond), or just Google Docs, The DM Companion sits on top of your current tab, giving you instant access to your most vital tools. Stop alt-tabbing through a dozen windows to find a spell description or a condition rule. Just hit the shortcut, and your screen is ready. ⚔️ KEY FEATURES: NEW FEATURE: Added all the Magic Items from the SRD, so look up your favourite magic items. NEW FEATURE: DICE TRAY - as I was loading all the Magic Items, many of them have random tables that can be rolled on, so I decided to add a Dice Tray with full on Dice rolling (it's not 3D physics based, but it gets the job done with a nice little animation, and keeping a log of what was rolled and the result!). So you can now roll your favourite D&D dice, and any Magic Item with random tables or damage rolls can be rolled from the description right there and then, the results being recorded along with damage type and values from the tables that was rolled on! Player Dashboard: Keep your party's vital stats (AC, Passive Perception, Spell Save DC) visible at all times. Instant Rules Lookup: Quickly reference Conditions, Actions, Weapon Properties, and Hazards without searching a wiki. SRD Spellbook: Filter and search hundreds of spells by Class and Level instantly. Item Reference: Look up weapons, armor, and adventuring gear - including costs and weights. Magic Items also recently added! NPC Generator: Create unique names on the fly (by Species and Gender) and save them to a list for later. Expand upon just a name with procedurally generated Physical Hooks, Mannerisms, Speaking Styles, Secret Desires, Moods, and Ideals based on species. Campaign Notes: A rich-text editor for session plans, loot tracking, and scratchpad ideas. Auto-saves as you type.
